We the members of the Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students (NFCS), St. Thomas Aquinas Centre, University of Ilorin Alumni Association intending the wellbeing of all graduated Catholic students from the University of Ilorin do hereby declare and give ourselves the following Constitution.

Our constitutional objectives that shape how we serve and grow together

  • Foster long-term interaction and lasting bonds among members across generations.

  • Help members integrate into society and build meaningful professional networks.

  • Support the mother fellowship — NFCS, St. Thomas Aquinas Centre, University of Ilorin.

  • Build a professional network that empowers members in their careers and vocations.

  • Uphold the Catholic faith and promote spiritual growth among alumni.

Governance

Organisational Structure

The Association operates through the following constitutional organs

Board of Trustees (BOT)

Not less than seven (7) members. Two principal officers: Chairman and Secretary. Exercises oversight and advisory authority over the Association.

National Executive Committee (NEC)

14 constitutionally defined positions, led by the President. Elected every 2 years by core members. Responsible for day-to-day governance.

Zonal Executive Committees

10 positions per zone, led by a Coordinator. Active zones: ABUJA, EAST, EDO/DELTA, KWARA, LAGOS, NORTH, OYO/OSUN, RIVERS.

Full Membership

Open to all Catholic graduates of the University of Ilorin. Full members enjoy voting rights, eligibility for executive positions, and access to all association benefits and programmes.

Associate Membership

Open to spouses, children of Full members and other interested Catholics who meet the statutory requirements. Associate members participate in association activities and community events.

Our Cooperative Arm

STAMCOS

As the association grew, so did the need for financial empowerment among members. STAMCOS was established to manage thrift and savings, loans, and investment schemes — providing a structured framework for collective financial growth.
